Huge D2E shoutout to our FFA on their last contest! ❤️🤍 Congrats to the Earlville FFA Ag Mech Team on their placings Thursday night at the Section contest. Landen was 3rd in Surveying. Clay was 3rd & JP was 2nd in Ag Power. Scott was 3rd and Isaac won the Welding portion. Since Isaac won he will be representing Section 7 FFA at the State contest on May 7.

Earlville Early Learning Center is now seeking several full time candidates and 2 part time candidates for teachers and teacher assistants for employment beginning in August for working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Teachers must be qualified by DCFS regulations, which includes being at least 19 years of age, having completed at least 60 credit hours of college with at least 6 hours in early childhood education or child development, or hold a current CDA or other DCFS approved credential. Director qualified candidates preferred.

Teacher assistants must be qualified by DCFS regulations, which includes being at least 18 years of age and having a high school diploma or equivalency.

Candidates must register for Gateways to Opportunity and complete required training, must become CPR and First Aid certified and pass a background check.

Candidates must be able to work any of the scheduled hours between 7:00 am- 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Red Raider Results Baseball and Softball both defeated West Carroll today. Softball won 3-2 Winning Pitcher: Addie Scherer (7 innings, 8Ks) Bailey Miller (single, double, homerun, 2 RBIs, 2 runs scored) Audrey Scherer (single, triple, 1 RBI) Tied in the bottom of the 6th, Bailey Miller turned a double play (6U, 6-3), then Audrey Scherer ended the inning with a throwdown to Bailey to get the next baserunner stealing. Bailey was the leadoff batter in the bottom of the 7th, and she ended the game with a walk-off homerun.
