Earlville Jr/Sr High School is pleased to announce that 3 students from the graduating class of 2026 have been designated as Illinois State Scholars. Mathieu Galante , son of Stephanie Galante and Stefon Behrens , Shelby Garbacz, daughter of Tim Garbacz, and Aurelia and Jason Auter, and Landen Tirevold,son of Jeremey Tirevold and Priscilla and Mark Rissman are this year's Illinois State Scholars.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the state’s college access and financial aid agency, presents this important recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students annually. The Illinois State Scholar acknowledgement is a non-monetary award. Each State Scholar designee receives a congratulatory letter and Certificate of Achievement from ISAC.

The Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Award is presented to a sophomore student who demonstrates strong leadership ability and traits such as courage, caring/concern for others, and outstanding communication and thinking skills. Congratulations Rylee Collins!
Rylee is the daughter of Bret and Melissa Collins.

Red Raider Nation The Serena Boys Tournament has changed their schedule due to the incoming weather. The JV Basketball team will play tomorrow as scheduled. The Varsity team will play at 4 and then based on their standings, they will play tomorrow night at either 6:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Neither team will play Saturday.

The Junior High packed boxes today for the Helping Hands.

TSI had a Socktober volunteer project. They collected and delivered 168 pairs of new socks to the PADS shelter in Peru. They also used money earned at their school business, D2E Bakery, to buy and deliver food to the LaSalle VA Clinic food pantry.

Congratulations to Earlville senior Bailey Miller. She has committed to play volleyball at North Central College in Naperville. She plans on pursuing a career in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Bailey is the daughter of Mick and Julia Miller.

Our TSI class is excited for Christmas now! Elf Jr was great!
