Huge D2E shoutout to Sophomore Nathanial Whitney, son of Melissa and Alan Whitney, for being selected as Earlville High School's October Student of the Month. Nathanial was selected based on his academic performance, character, behavior, and effort. Some of the staff comments include- " I only see younger students so I am nominating a younger student. Nathanial is doing a great job in my class. He is eager to learn and jumps right in to tackle any project I give him. I have given him some tough ones but he keeps pushing himself and won't give up. He has a positive attitude and great work ethic. He has come such a long way.” He earned a $5 gift card and a sign for his yard!
Huge D2E shoutout to Junior Brian Allen, son of Rachel and Brian Allen, for being selected as Earlville High School's October Student of the Month. Brian was selected based on his academic performance, character, behavior, and effort. Some of the staff comments include- "Brian Allen is a great student, in my opinion he is a good role model to other students and should be considered for student of the month! He is always respectful and polite! He has volunteered his services to help in the cafeteria on a daily basis cleaning up after high school lunch. He has taken the time to notify us when he had meeting obligations that would prevent him from providing the service and even has gone as far as finding a replacement to sub for him. This will be the 2nd year he has volunteered doing this. He actually has gone above and beyond. He volunteered on his own time after dismissal to stay and help unload the outside freezer items and help get them into the new freezer.” He earned a $5 gift card and a sign for his yard!
Huge D2E shoutout to Senior Virgil Ackley, son of Melissa Ackley and Jeff Ackley, for being selected as Earlville High School's October Student of the Month. Virgil was selected based on his academic performance, character, behavior, and effort. Some of the staff comments include- " I saw Virgil treat another student/teammate with such patience and kindness while helping her learn the game of golf over the past two weeks. It is so amazing to see this come from an upperclassman who could have easily dismissed her to focus on his own game, but he continued to show what D2E means by constantly encouraging her through the learning process.” He earned a $5 gift card and a sign for his yard!
Huge D2E shoutout to Senior Dalia Hernandez, daughter of Zulma and Ivan Hernandez for being selected as Earlville High School's October Student of the Month. Dalia was selected based on her academic performance, character, behavior, and effort. Some of the staff comments include- " Dalia excels in schoolwork and is a fun student to have in class. Despite taking on many responsibilities outside of school, Dalia maintains quality schoolwork and offers good insight into what is being discussed in class.” She earned a $5 gift card and a sign for her yard!
Huge D2E shoutout to Senior Easton Fruit, son of Nathan and Jenette Fruit, for being selected as Earlville High School's October Student of the Month. Easton was selected based on his academic performance, character, behavior, and effort. Some of the staff comments include- "Easton is reliable with his work as a student and is respectful towards his peers and staff. Easton is always easy to deal with in class and usually has a positive disposition. He is curious about learning and adds to class discussions in an insightful manner.” He earned a $5 gift card and a sign for his yard!
Huge D2E shoutout to Senior Emma Jacobs, daughter of Jamie Jacobs and Bryce Jacobs, for being selected as Earlville High School's October Student of the Month. Emma is a leader amongst her peers both in the classroom and on the athletic playing court. She is kind and respectful to fellow students and staff members. Emma is truly an asset to Earlville High School! Emma is pleasant to have in class and works well with other people. Emma participates well in class adding insight to the subject being covered in class. ” She earned a $5 gift card and a sign for her yard!
